The Funeral

This piece is a piece particularily close to my heart. It was my first attempt at water painting, it was done during my highschool years in grade 12 and it took me several weeks to get just right. It isn't finished yet though.
It involves the death of my favorite character Elana Merata Ex Queen of the Merata Kon, first person in 500 years to bring all the barbaric tribes of the kon together. She was killed in a ceremonial battle over the leadership of the kon by her long time Idol Dorinian Landcaster head of the Landcaster clan of the northern highlands. The Scene here depicts her funeral and the various people closest to her. Starting from the left there is: Germo the high priest of Kord, Dialila Landcaster daughter of Dorian Landcaster and cohort of Elana, Freya Merata daughter of Elana Merata (half-celestial and Jade Pheonix Mage), Kruavar Droverson Elana's second husband holding Aisir Merata Kruavar and Elana's son and Freya's half-brother, arch-canon of Pelor Joseph David Balfasaurson, and the Elf-lich Andire Elana's best friend.
